Shopping-agent and self-forwarding workflows
HooBuy supports product-link purchasing and also publishes a forwarding workflow for items bought independently from sources such as Taobao and Weidian. For forwarding, shoppers obtain the HooBuy warehouse address, send the product there, and submit the correct Chinese courier tracking number so the arrival can be matched.
How HooBuy identifies forwarded arrivals
HooBuy says each submitted courier number creates an order ID. Its team categorizes products, takes QC photos, and stores them; a large or mixed domestic package can be split into several IDs. Accurate tracking information matters because a mismatch can delay warehouse identification.
Consolidation, dimensions, and route restrictions
Stored products can be selected and consolidated for international delivery. HooBuy warns that shipping price changes by goods category and that oversized or low-density parcels may be charged by volumetric weight. Its public estimator also distinguishes prohibited and restricted goods, so confirm packing, route, insurance, customs, and the post-warehouse price.
